New Website Launched and Live!

Here at Brick, we don’t like to rush things. There are many web design companies who believe that getting a new website live is the most important thing but this haste always leads to problems; if you’re rushing then you’re not focused and a lack of focus can be fatal. We don’t launch a new website until it’s absolutely perfect and ready for the world to use and enjoy.

For some time, we have been providing our services to Funktion Events, a company which specialises in organising corporate events and hen/stag parties both in the UK and abroad. The company have grown and evolved during this time, with Brick delivering consistently high search engine rankings and bringing an ever greater number of visitors to the site. As a natural part of their growth, they decided to take advantage of our expertise and upgrade their website to the very best that we have to offer.

Designing the new website began with a series of face-to-face meetings, during which we worked closely together to pin down exactly what the company wanted and to show how we here at Brick could make it a reality. Once everyone was completely certain of the direction in which we were heading, we got to work and started the detailed, complex work of creating the new website.

As we mentioned at the start of this article, rushing was not an option as our expert coders began shaping the new site based around our unique CMS. Every single aspect was carefully crafted before being checked and checked again to make sure that it was right before moving onto the next stage. We have found this method to be the only way to ensure that the finished product is perfect; any problems were discovered by us instead of by visitors to the site, allowing us to get them fixed at once.

The old Funktion Events website continued to provide service as we worked behind the scenes and finally the new website was ready for launch. It is now fully live and active and, as expected, is working perfectly. The transition was seamless and there was no downtime whatsoever.
